Introduction of the Office of International Affairs
In order to effectively create opportunities for cooperation with foreign universities and to internationalize Cheng Shiu University, the Office of International Affairs (OIA) was established on August 1, 2006. The Office, headed by the dean, is comprised of three sections, the Academic Exchange Section, the Language Training Section and the Project Development Section. We work with all related affiliations of the university to:
● Coordinate the academic exchange and cooperation programs for students and faculty researches and study abroad;
● Assist faculty members from all academic affiliations to attain international visits, travels, and collaborative work;
● Facilitate international visits to Cheng Shiu University;
● Assist the university in obtaining public funding for international education programs;
● Cooperate with other educational institutions of higher education to promote students' experience of studying abroad;
● Arrange conferences for the cooperation among the government, academic affiliations, and research institutions
Presently, more than 200 international institutions from all over the world signed cooperative agreements with Cheng Shiu University. Our partner institutions include schools from the United States, Costa Rica, Russia, Japan, China, the Philippines, Thailand, Paraguay, Slovenia, Italy, Australia, India, Vietnam, Korea, Spain, New Zealand, Canada and Singapore.
